Are you trying to play it on a DVD player?
IF YES This is not a dvd. It is a CD-R with an xvid movie on it. In otherwords, its meant to be watched on your computer. Some dvd players will play this format, but I wouldn't count on it.
Is the disk recognized by your computer?
IF YES THEN do you have the correct player installed? Winamp includes the necessary codec to play this file. If you wish to use a different player, you may have to manually install the codec in order for it to play or allow your player to do an update via the Web. I have included a codec file on the disk XviD-1.0.3-20122004.exe, as well as winamp. You can also go to the xvid web site and download it directly for yourself.
IF NO THEN are you running Windows (98SE, ME, 2000, XP, MCE)?
IF YES odds are that there is a problem with your disk, if none of the other solutions on this page have helped. Email me, and Ill work with you, and if necessary, send another disk.
IF NO then you may not be able to read UDF formatted disks. I prefer to burn in that format as it reduces the chance of bad burns. I ask for your computer platform before I send it out so that I can burn ISO format if necessary. Email me and Ill send you another disk if none of the other solutions on this page help.
Is the video choppy?
IF YES do you have a high speed CD drive (30X or greater)?
IF YES your video drivers may not be installed correctly, or you may need to increase your hardware acceleration. In Windows, start > settings > control panel > display > settings (make sure color quality is 24 bits or higher)> advanced > troubleshoot make sure that hardware acceleration is set to full.
IF NO try copying the entire mothertime.avi to a folder on your hard drive and playing it from there.
Is there no sound?
IF YES check all of the volume controls on your computer. That would include making sure the speakers are plugged in and turned on, that the volume setting on your player is turned up and not muted, and that the master volume control for the computer is turned up and not muted. If the video plays and there is no sound, the problem is surely on your end. Your computer's help documentation will probably be able to assist you better than I can.
